About
Elliott Engen is a resident of the community of Lino Lakes, where he lives with his family. He is a husband, father, and sixth-generation Minnesotan, born and raised in White Bear Lake, where he attended school and met his wife, Faith, a published author and small business owner. Elliott and Faith recently welcomed their young son, Everette, into the world.
Elliott has experience in the legal field and NGO coordination in the interests of school safety and outdoor conservation. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2022, becoming the first Gen Z elected official in the state.
Elliott earned his B.A. in Legal Studies and Political Science, with an emphasis on International Relations at Hamline University. He was a member of Hamline’s baseball team, earning awards for success on the field and in the classroom. Engen also led a campus group that discussed public policy, inviting individuals of all political ideologies to participate in discussion, knowing that while people differ, we should all have the ability to speak on our beliefs and challenge ideas with civility.
While most politicians focus on noise and engage in petty political drama, Engen has proven that his sole focus is delivering results for the community he works for. As your State Representative, Engen has been a bold, principled leader who brings sanity to state government and has the solutions needed to reverse our decline and revive the American Dream.
