A Word From Marc: Thank you all who came out to our annual Fall Halloween celebration. We gave away many of Pumpkins, endless bags of candy and popcorn while testing my limits as a barista making cappuccinos to keep people warm and alert. We look forward to this event every year. Seeing folks who I don't see on a regular basis is always wonderful. Fall is a great time to see old friends, bake a pie or sit by the fire and think deep thoughts. Many People will tell you Fall is their favorite time of year. Although It's a beautiful season I have to admit I often have a little trepidation knowing that soon I will have to start wearing those socks that have been quietly waiting for me in my dresser drawer for months. Like others I love fall. I like it for the change. I look forward to adapting to the new seasonal surroundings. I personally run towards any chance to adapt and change. I jokingly say that Long range planning for me is about 20 minutes. I'm always confused when people fight change. Change is inevitable. I know sometimes it creeps up on us while other times it hits us in the head like a foul ball but it's all good. We can predict how the seasons change but we won't see all the changes that face us through our days and years. For me anyways it's a little freeing knowing I can't always control the things around me. I could fight it and keep wearing my flip-flops in the snow or I can reach into my sock drawer and be a little more comfortable. Oh yea, real estate. It's fine.
