A Word From Marc: I was running around North Oaks the other day and I came across a doe who had just given birth. I knew the fawn was literally just minutes old because it was walking awkwardly trying to keep up with its mother. When it saw me, It dropped to the ground in the tall grass. My immediate thought was this is an animal that is literally minutes old and not only can it walk but can also instinctively hide from predators. How does it know to do that? As humans, we are pretty much useless blobs for months. Our learning curve to take care of ourselves and be independent is steep. How did we even manage to live long enough to populate 8 million of us? There are certain things I wished I instinctively learned like this fawn. I wish I learned earlier to care about people, but not necessarily what they say or do. I wish I learned to worry less, it serves no purpose. I wish I intuitively knew that the sooner I bought a house the better off I would be. I bought my first house when I was 24. Not bad actually many people these days don't own a home until they're 30+. The reason that buying a home is so important is not just because it's the American dream but because it's a way to create generational wealth for ourselves and our children. Real estate is one of a few things we can buy that literally appreciates in value. Surel we can buy gold or invest in the stock market, but we have to live somewhere and we mind as well live in a growing asset. These are things I learned as I got older and not within two minutes of being born. As I stood still, and watched the fawn drift off into the trees, I whispered be kind, worry less and buy a home. 2 MARTIN LANE 3 BEDROOMS 3 BATHROOM | 2 CAR GARAGE This Mid-Century Gem nestled in the serene and prestigious community of North Oaks is the only home on Martin LN.
