They said they hired me above other realtors because they knew I would be direct and honest with a no bull approach to selling their home. It's not the first time I've heard that. Being from New York I do tend to be more direct but I appreciate when people recognize it as a positive attribute, especially when dealing with a highly emotional and financial decision. Being a realtor isn't about telling people what to do. It's about listening and advising and letting people come to their own decision. It's about trust which I don't take for granted. The North Oaks real estate market is getting busy. More homes are coming on the market. Many are selling. Just last week I put a home on the market that sold with multiple offers way over the original asking price. Now, that's not always the case but it's just proof that it still happens when things are done professionally.
