A Word From Marc: Whether it was motivation from watching the Olympics or just having an itch for adventure I woke up the other day and decided to run down Summit in St. Paul. Running along Summit I passed many glorious homes all with one thing in common. They had a front porch. Some of them actually had real people on the porches. It's humanity. I love it. It made me miss having a front porch. I had one once it was my favorite spot to sit. Watching the world go by. Every home in America once had a front porch. That's how we watched out for each other and kept an eye on each others kids. We waved to each other to come over and have a little chat. I sold two homes this week neither one of them had a porch. Maybe it's just not something we need anymore. Do. me a favor at least if you see me run by wave me over so we can have a chat. FYI... Mortgage rates have the potential to drop next month by as much as half a point. With this a lot of buyers who were waiting are going to jump into the market. It's going to spur a lot of activity.
