The Spring market is springing after all. The number of new listings. coming on market was up 25% from December. The percentage of all-cash purchases hit its highest monthly point in almost 10 years and the average number of offers received was the highest since last summer. $1,000,000+ sales jumped 27%. High end buyers appear to be coming back into the market more quickly, perhaps due to spectacular rebounds in stock markets. The prices in North Oaks appear to be still increasing albeit at a more 1 to 3% normal rate. Like the "past winter it may not be what we have experienced in the last few years but it's still pretty good and as my old mentor used to say it's better than a stick in the eye.
