2024 REAL ESTATE A Word From Marc: The other day I was enjoying an early morning run around Pleasant Lake when out from the mist appeared a coyote running directly towards me. He stopped. I stopped. We stared at each other for quite some time before continuing on with our own tasks. I assume he was searching for food, while I a little solace. It is these moments that I never take for granted and will always be grateful for living in such a community as North Oaks. Well here we are. The gasoline in the snowblower is getting stale and my parka is looking a little lonely hanging on its hook. Feels weird. I can't even call my relatives in other states and brag about surviving another Minnesota Winter. Pretty soon all my snowbird friends are going to be moving back. I'll have to tell them there's not much for sale. I'll have to tell them There's only 7 existing homes for sale in North Oaks. An all time low actually at least in my 40 years. I am getting phone calls weekly from buyers and other agents asking if I have anything for sale. I anticipated a fairly balanced market in 2024 but I think for at least the first half it's s going to be more of a sellers market. I wouldn't be surprised if selling times go back to under 30 days and we once again are dealing with competing offers on the same property. We will see I suppose. I hope my coyote friend enjoys his home then when he's done hunting for the day. I know I will enjoy my own abode when I'm done with my run. I hope everybody can get that special home they are looking for and can enjoy the view with or without the snow. Be Well Friends.
